Storm Watchers

One of our recent favorite pastimes is watch the rain. We have had a lot of thunderstorms this season (usually they don't come until August in this area) and we love to hear the rain pour down, the thunder crack, watch the leaves and twigs float down the driveway, and smell the freshness only rain can bring. If we had a porch, we would be out there, but since we don't we just look out the window.
Here are some pictures of a couple of days ago when the girls woke up to a storm. (Notice the bed head. He he he!)

that's fun... my kids still make sure that everything is OK before they can relax. For the last storm sat beside her daddy sobbing uncontrolably until it ended and then said, "I not scared anymore, it not storming anymore!" :-)
