"I'm Too Old For Sesame Street, Mommy"

Emma said this to me today when I asked if she would like to watch it. I couldn't believe it. Maybe I'm being a little overboard here, but when did my baby grow up?
Here is the problem. This is how I still think of Emma ( this is in 2005!)

This is reality. I have a young lady in my home now. She is no longer a baby. This is very exciting, but sometimes sad. I must be getting old.

Mommy's have a strange way of keeping thier little ones little... it's called time warp! You'll get used to it soon enough - and she'll be asking to go for ice cream with friends and then to the prom and then... well kindergarten goes fast! Hold on to the great memories you have! :-)
We'll help make some more!

Isn't it crazy how fast time goes? And every year just goes by faster and faster. She looks like such a yound lady. :)

I know what you mean about exciting and hard at the same time. It is so fun to watch them grow and change, but my goodness, do they have to do it so fast? :)

Emma is such a cutie!

Btw, I love the picture you have as your header!
